Frequently asked questions
You pay 1% *(including GST) per annum on Assets Under Advice (AUA). You will be invoiced on a monthly basis at the rate of 0.083%*(including GST).
AUA = Value of Mutual Fund holdings implemented/invested through PeakAlpha in direct schemes.
The following prerequisites must be met before scheduling a new plan session:
- The session will be scheduled only on receipt of a completed template with required data from you. Necessary documents must be kept handy or shared with the template.
- Once the template is received by the advisor, the advisor will review it and identify inadequate or missing information. The advisor will subsequently inform you over an email to share the same.
- Mutual Fund KYC in the name of the investor should be completed and registered.
- Onboarding on the necessary mutual fund transaction platform should be completed.
- A token transaction on the mutual fund platform should be completed.
PeakAlpha will schedule the new plan session once the above prerequisites are met.
Recommendations and reports will be based only on information shared and made available to the planner by you on or before the date of the plan.
A PeakDirect contract is valid for 12 months from the date of signing the agreement and is subject to renewal after this period.
You will be eligible for three sessions in the first year of engagement:
a. The first session will be scheduled as a new plan session for two hours.
b. You will receive subsequent review sessions, once every four months, after the new plan session. These sessions will be for one and a half hours. PeakAlpha will reach out to you to schedule the review sessions at a mutually convenient time. There will be no interim session in the first year.
c. From the second year, upon renewal of the contract, the frequency of review sessions will be based on the segment you fall under.
d. What determines segmentation?
The segmentation is determined by the Mutual Funds Assets under Advice.
The segments and the review sessions that you are eligible for from the second year are as follows:

e. You will be eligible for interim sessions only from the second year, upon renewal of the contract. Interim sessions can be scheduled for any interim requirements or discussions over and above the scheduled reviews.
f. The interim sessions available to you are based on the segment that you fall under, which is determined by the Mutual Funds Asset under Advice.
g. The segments and their respective interim sessions available to you from the second year are as follows:

h. You will have to reach out to the Customer Advocacy team at PeakAlpha or the respective advisor to schedule the interim sessions. Each session will be scheduled for 30 minutes, based on mutual convenience. The interim session will be followed by an interim report with recommendations if any, which will be shared by the advisor.
i. Review reports and interim reports will not be followed by report discussions. Only the report sent after the new plan will be followed by a 30-minute report discussion.
A financial planning report documents the recommendations provided by the investment advisor in the session. A report will be generated and sent to you after the new plan session.
a. The report will be signed by the advisor.
b. A one-hour discussion will be scheduled after the report is sent to you.
Under the PeakDirect plan, implementation support will be provided only for mutual funds. The implementation of mutual funds will be in Direct mode through PeakAlpha.
The implementation support team will also extend their support on the following service requests:
- Change of bank
- Change of nominee
- Change of mobile number/email ID/address
- Change of FATCA and residential status
- Transmission of units
- Capital Gain Statements/Account Statements
